I find one of the best things to do is to make mixed CDs for friends and include some Bayside songs on there. I've had a fairly positive results so far with this.
There was also an idea before to make a bunch of copies of like a three song sampler and hand them out to people at other shows you go to or at school or whatever. I don't know how that works because I haven't tried it yet. But it is another idea. I would say that if you do that, you should have like a little note with it talking about the band a bit and ask the person to hand it off if they don't like it.

That's awesome sam! I just wanted to say real quick that you're allowed to put like 3 songs on a CD and hand them out as a demo, even Ant approved that (just so you know that you're on the safe side) he just asked people to write a note about what bayside and the songs mean to you

Oh my gosh, we should make the BCC CD and it could have notes from all of us, the bayside fans about what they mean to us, like a couple of lines each (if its possible to some up in a few lines) and make them look pretty and everything then give them out at gigs, it would promote the board as well! x

That sounds amazing!! But we would need to find 3 songs all of us like Or shall we make different demos? Like different cds with each 3 songs on them? Not too many different cd's though just 2 or 3

I think this is an amazing idea. How about, you know you get VictoryTeam..? And, they hand out like CD's basically in a cardboard sleeve[?] with some images and text printed onto it. Just print the board logo and a few comments, track listing, etc. onto this and then insert the CD. I think if everything is all in one place, all together, it makes it easier to keep track of, hand out and look at for the receiver. If you're at a show, you want something light to hold. It's [semi]cheap to run photocopies onto card that you can just fold, and also CD's. The greater the production, the cheaper..! I really hope people know/undertsand what i mean. xx

Yes, what I did was printing it on a paper and fold the paper around the CD Works well! And you can print one out and go and make copies so it isn't too expensive I wrote my notes on an extra paper and put it in with the CD Also we put a link on the cd to a guestbook where people could tell if they like the cd or not
